Sherman Norel Saulton

He was born May 27, 1952, in Charleston, the son of Hobart and Wilma Marie Saulton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny L. Saulton, brother-in-law Louis Titcher.

Sherman was a 1970 graduate of Nitro High School & attended WV State. He loved hunting and fishing, cookouts & family traditions for holiday meals and gatherings. And homemade pizzas. Sherman began his portrait photography career with Pendleton Photography where he worked for 15 years covering 6 states. He and Linda then started Tri State Photo (Family Portraits) where they worked together for over 30 +years making memories for over 4 generations of families.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Linda Titcher Saulton, sister in law Teresia Miller Saulton, sister in law Barbara Titcher and families of LaPorte, TX, brother in law Leslie Titcher (Sharon) nephew Lucas Titcher all of Julian, NC niece Lauren TItcher of Charlotte, NC, and Kim Titcher of Charleston and his faithful k 9 companions Livee and Rosie B. along with a host of good friends and great neighbors.

Shermans family offers a heart felt thanks to the Drs and staff at WVU Thomas Hospital.

Celebration of Sherman’s life will be held at a later date.
