

His love of family and love of life was the driving force behind his hard-fought battle with cancer.
He was born December 22, 1961, in Buckhannon, the son of Rev. Donald Coleman and the late Roberta Coleman.
Terry was a 20-year employee of Charleston Internal Medicine/WVU Internal Medicine where he served as the Practice Manager. Terry loved playing with his grandchildren, gardening, travelling, reading, and watching the Mountaineers. He was a longtime member of Cross Lanes United Methodist Church, and he enjoyed spending his time volunteering for the American Heart Association.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Terri, sons Garrett Coleman (Lyndsey), Ryan Coleman, and daughter Courtney Petry (Chase), grandchildren Jack, Graham, Hannah, Mason Coleman and Hudson Petry, sister Carol Boyd (David), brother Ronald Coleman (Rebecca Erbelding), mother-in-law Joanne Schwirian, brother-in-law David Schwirian (Debbie), niece Shelby Ludle (Michael), and a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Terry’s life will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Cross Lanes United Methodist Church with Rev. Brandon Moll officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11 until time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tim Randolph Soccer Scholarship Fund managed by TGKVF or the American Heart Association.
