

Thomas "Tom" Glen Faber, 71, of Hometown, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, after a long illness.
Tom was born on January 7, 1955, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Robert E. "Bob" Faber and Betty Jo Faber.
Tom worked at Union Carbide for 26 years, where he set multiple production records as a weighmaster. He took great pride in his work and deeply valued the friendships he made with his coworkers.
Following his retirement from Union Carbide, Tom continued working at ProFire and later at Würth Industry North America.
When he wasn't working, Tom enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved fishing with his longtime friend, LD Summers, and was an avid coon hunter who raised nine coon dogs over the years.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. "Bob" Faber and Betty Jo Faber, and his sister, Teddi Ann Faber.
He is survived by his brother, Robert T. "Tim" Faber; his sister-in-law, Janice Faber; and his nieces, Krista Kurlinkus, Mollie Faber, and Megan Faber.
Tom will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends.
Celebration of Tom’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Cunningham Memorial Park Lower Mausoleum with Pastor Ben Edwards officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, West Virginia.
The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Valley Center, especially Nurse Chuck, where Tom lived for the past two and a half years. Special thanks also to the compassionate caregivers at Hubbard Hospice House, who provided comfort and care during Tom's final days. His family deeply appreciates everyone who supported and cared for him throughout his journey.
