Verna B. Dawson, age 85, passed away on June 28, 2026, at Lakeland Regional Health and Medical Center. She was born on January 8, 1941, in Belle. She was a Homemaker. Her family was her whole life. She pursued many hobbies, but her favorites were baking, cooking, sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold E. Dawson and grandson Steven Dickerson. She is survived by her daughters Debra Harris of Bartow, FL Kimberly Dickerson of Jacksonville, FL & Tracy Johnson of New Port Richey, FL son Larry Dawson of Bartow, FL, grandchildren Jason Harris (Natalie), Kaylyn Dawson (Mike), Erica Selvig, Christopher Dawson, Ashlee Caraway, Samantha Caraway & KayDee Lee Johnson and 4 great grandchildren. Interment will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Cunningham Memorial Park, Saint Albans.
