Wanda Mae Fisher

She was born August 23, 1931, in Dunbar, WV to the late John Blane and Cora Lee (Barnette) Stone. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Roy H. Fisher and seven siblings as well as her precious cat Millie.

Left to mourn her death are daughters Roycelene Lea Wolfe, Charlene Hoback and two step-granddaughters Amber Hoback and Erika (Charles) Jarrell and several nieces and nephews. Wanda worked several jobs during her lifetime but was best known as an excellent Home Health Care Provider for numerous individuals.

Celebration of Wanda’s life will be on Saturday July 27, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Visitation will be from 1 until time of service at the funeral home.

The family wishes to thank all the nurses and doctors at Thomas Memorial/WVU Hospital and the Hubbard Hospice House for the excellent care given to Wanda.

Lea and Charlene want to also thank all their friends and family for their prayers and support.
