Carmela (Millie) Tinari was born and raised in Bronx, New York. One of six children born to Joseph and Angelina Moffa, she was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish. In July 1946 she married Merardo (Louis) Tinari and had two children, Robert (Mary Jane) and Jeanette (Richard). Her husband passed away in April 1980. Millie is survived by her children and their spouses, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Millie was a loving, kind, sweet and caring person who never complained, saw only the best in others and always believed the glass was half full. She loved old movies and was an extraordinary cook. She will be greatly missed.
