David was born in Ossining, NY on June 5, 1932 to David W. and Carmen (Milholm) Chadeayne.
He was a proud Army Korean War Veteran serving from 1950-1952, he also served as a Flotilla Commander with the United States Coast Guard. David was a member of the Croton Fire Patrol and past Commodore of the Croton Yacht Club.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas J., Sr. (Maria), Richard A. (Phyllis Settembre), Michael J. and David W., III (Nellie); his longtime companion Mary L. Piotrowski; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 6-9 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 20th at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Cremation Services will be private.
