Punky. ...or doots as my father called her was always one of my all time favorite aunts. I remember going to her house as a child and seeing the utter chaos with so many children running around and all I experienced with her was total relaxation and love and enjoyment for life I wanted to be part of that family!
I admired her enormous spirit intelligence and most of all honesty.
She has left an amazing legacy

Georgianna was an inspiration to me. I will never forget her strength, her kindness, her wit, and her disdain for the exclamation mark (!). We met in memoir writing class just four years ago and she helped me in my later musings and gave flight to my ideas. I loved exchanging thoughts and feelings with this wonderful person of insight. Georgianna touched my life in a very special way. I shall miss her.

Rara Avis. Funny, smart, down-to-earth, indefatigable and no-nonsense. A truly lovable mensch.
