Hilda Theresa Rotindo

Hilda Theresa Rotindo, 101 years of age, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2025. Hilda was born on February 11, 1924, in Cugnoli, Italy. She was the middle child of Michele and Elisabetta (Silvestri) Chiulli.

Hilda was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, whose warmth, strength, and enduring love has shaped generations. She is survived by her son, Michael Rotindo and his wife, Cindy Teeple; daughter-in-law, Patricia Rotindo; granddaughter, Brianne Spurchise and her husband, Chris; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Spurchise. Hilda is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Camille Gesue and her husband, Joseph, Joseph Gesue, Jr., and his wife, Katie, and Christian Gesue and his wife, Maggie. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Ida Mae Chiulli and daughter, Teena Marie Chiulli.

She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Rotindo, her son, Albert Rotindo, Jr., her sister, Amelia Verzello and her husband, Phillip, and her brother, Mario Chiulli.

Hilda held many positions during her lifetime, working for: Instrument Parts Corporation, Readers Digest, North American Philips and Laura Manufacturing.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. Burial will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery in Ossining, NY.

Hilda will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who were blessed to be called family or friend!
