Joan Dymes of Croton-on-Hudson died May 30, 2013 at the age of 77. Born March 6, 1936 in Croton, NY to Joseph and Rose (Guarda) Fittabile. Joan (“Joanne”) was an avid golfer and tennis player. She is survived by her beloved husband Joseph Kevin Dymes, loving children Kathleen Dymes, Joseph Kevin Dymes Jr. (Geraldine), Sheila Lally (David) and her cherished grandchildren Danny, Ben, Lacey, Kate, Maggie, Joe, Aidan, Jane and Patrick, with whom she loved spending time. “Grammy” was always there for each of them with her beautiful smile and kindness. Joan is also survived by a lifetime of dear and loving friends. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-7 P.M. at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St. in Croton. Funeral Mass is Monday at 10am at Holy Name of Mary Church followed by an Interment at Bethel Cemetery.
