John was born on June 16, 1948 to John & Theresa (Bendetto) Montalto Sr. in Mt. Vernon, NY. He worked as a HVAC specialist at IBM for many years. In the last decade John worked at the New York State Veteran’s Nursing Home.
John is survived by his loving children John Montalto, Danielle Raefski, Christine Iovino and Henry Montalto as well as 6 cherished grandchildren and his caring sister and brother, Louise Montalto and Frank Montalto. Besides his parents John is predeceased by his brother Joseph and his grandson’s Robert and Christopher.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11th from 4-8pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St. Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 10:00am at Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville, NY. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, NY.
