In loving memory of Yannis, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will forever be remembered for his kindness, caring nature, and tranquil spirit. Yannis, who peacefully passed away, leaves a legacy filled with love and endearing memories.

Born in the beautiful city of Kavala, Greece, Yannis embarked on a journey to the United States in his early 20s. His adventurous spirit and resilience were characteristics that followed him throughout his life.

Yannis was a devoted lover of sports, and his passion for soccer was infectious. Out on the field or quietly cheering from the sidelines as his children and grandchildren played, his excitement and love for the game were always evident.

Left to honor Yannis and remember his love are his cherished wife, Fay; his devoted children, Sarantoula and Soterios; his son-in-law, Spencer; his nephew Harry, and his adored grandchildren, Ioannis, Eleni, Yorgia, Fotini, and Aleksandra. Each of them embraced a piece of Yannis' wisdom, passion, and boundless love.

We will forever remember Yannis as a pillar of strength and compassion. His memory will continue to inspire us all to live courageously, love deeply, and to always strive for our passion.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know and love him. His legacy will continue to live on through the lives he touched and enriched with his kindness, spirit, and enduring love.

Visitation for Yannis will be held Monday, March 4, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM & 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520.

A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. A burial will occur Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Bethel Cemetery, Old Post Rd S & Cleveland Dr, Croton-on-Hudson, New York.

Following the service, we invite you to join in sharing memories and celebrating Yannis's life at Sandra and Spencer's residence, located at 7 Hillview Court, Cortlandt Manor.
