Leila A. Bocek

Leila “Lee” Bocek Budelli of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 with family members by her side at the VNA Hospice of Indian River. Lee was born on June 6, 1933 in Port Chester, NY to the late Anthony and Marie Russo. She grew up, raised her 3 children and spent most of her adult life in the tri-state area. She worked for Pepsico in a variety of capacities for over 30 years. Shortly after retiring, she and her husband Peter relocated to Vero Beach from Greenwich, CT.

Lee is survived by her husband Peter A. Budelli and her children, Cheryl Ragonese and husband Stephen, Linda Gierer and husband Vincent, and Stephen Bocek and wife Dawn. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Stephen Ragonese, Samantha Crociata and husband Stephen, Emily Bocek and Daniel Bocek and one great grandchild, Rosalie Crociata, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Her niece, Kym Norberto of Sebastian, FL provided loving support and assistance to Lee since her relocation to Vero Beach. Lee was predeceased by her first husband, Stephen J. Bocek, Jr. of Tarrytown, NY, her brother James Russo and her sister Joan Norberto.

The family will receive friends at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home located at 41 Grand Street, Croton-On-Hudson, NY on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 4:30 PM.
