M. Jacqueline Jackie Zack

Jackie was born on June 12, 1926 in Toledo, OH to the late Lawrence R. and Catherine (Ruby) Albert Bartley. She moved to New York City, attended, and graduated from NYU with a Bachelor’s Degree. She then married her beloved husband Benjamin Zack on September 29, 1949 whom she met while at NYU. Jackie worked for many years in the Radio and Magazine Industry when she and Benjamin lived in New York City. She was very active in the Staten Island PTA before moving with her family to Freehold, NJ where she and her family lived for over 40 years. Jackie was a talented artist. Her exceptional artistic skill was in impressionistic oil painting. She enjoyed the Theatre & Arts and NYC. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and devoted animal lover. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Benjamin Zack; devoted son and his wife, Jeffrey and Loren Zack; and her adoring grandchildren, Alyssa Pearl Zack and Spencer Julian Zack.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 6 Old Post Rd. N., Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. Burial will follow at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jackie’s name should be made to: St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 6 Old Post Rd. N., Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520.
