Words cannot express how devastated I was to read these posts.  I have know him for more years than I care to remember - meeting him when we were kids and he would come to New Zealand with his mum and dad to visit his grandfather.  Whilst our parents kept in touch, we didn't, and we only hooked up a few years ago through Facebook.  Such a tragedy...  All the Hogg men are together again...

I can,t believe you are gone sweetie..You were such a nice facebook friend,so nice and funny,a genuine nice guy with a heart of gold..You will be missed greatly..May the angels lift your spirit with love and peace.. i will never forget you.

Thinking about the good times and fun we had working together makes me smile and then realizing that you're gone just breaks my heart....I'll miss you...Rest in peace...

This is so hard to comprehend.  I've known Phillip since he was 14.  Always great at keeping in touch and supporting others through rough times.  I can't believe he's gone.  I'm sure we will meet again in Heaven...still so worried about Pamela and I can't seem to get a hold of her.  Love and sympathy to all who loved Phillip...Sina

Irene and I are so sorry to hear of Phillips passing. After all these years we still stayed in touch. We have known him since his childhood when we built his parents house.He was a great person with a wonderful sence of humor. R I P my brother
