Robert L. Locklin

Robert L. Locklin, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, passed away on July 22, 2023. He was 93. Robert was born on May 1, 1930 to the late Lawrence and Evelyn (DeLoach) Locklin. He worked for many years as a travel agent and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict when he served in the United States Army.

Robert had a passion for music and the railroad. He was a member of several organizations centering around his love of both. He began his professional career at the New York Central Railroad prior to getting drafted in the Army and maintained a life-long interest in the topic, which eventually led to his ultimate career in travel.

He is survived by his two brothers, Edwin Locklin (Diane) and James Locklin (Diane) and his three nieces, Lori Spruiell, Sherry Leaird and Cori Russell as well as his great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 12 PM - 2 PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A prayer service will begin at 12:30 PM at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name may be made to The New York Symphony, The Audubon Society or a charity of your choice.
