Roger William Peterson

Roger was born on June 26, 1955 in Ossining, NY to Roger William and Helen (Garrett) Peterson. He worked for many years as a Carpenter with the Carpenters Local# 279. Roger loved canoeing on the Croton river, visiting Saratoga, and was an avid New York Ranger fan. He was known for his lively and sharp sense of humor.

He is survived by his mother Helen Peterson; beloved daughters, Carly Peterson and Emily Prezzano; loving life partner, Ellen Lancaster; brothers Jeff and Michael Peterson, nieces, Lauren and Shannon; nephews Charlie and Lucas, two great-nieces, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 1 to 3 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
