Rosa M. Callan

Rosa “Honey” Callan of Bedford Hills passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014. She was 76 years old. Rosy was born in Quito, Ecuador on Aug. 14, 1937 to the late Cesar and Lina (Aliatis) Cantos Pazmino. She is survived by her beloved children, Cesar Callan and his wife Judi, and Barbara Lloyd and her husband William, both of Somers and James Callan from Pennsylvania; adoring grandchildren, John Paul, Cristen, Matthew, Michael, John, Jacque, Xavier, Sarina, Owen and Joseph; devoted brothers and sisters, Giacomo Cantos, Horacio Cantos, Chatti Gomez and Linny Schlegel. Rosy is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Rosy was predeceased by her beloved husband John Callan on May 22, 1987. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 21 at St. Joseph’s Church, 95 Plum Brook Road in Somers
