Steven Howard Lesnick, a resident of Cortlandt Manor, passed away unexpectedly from a stroke on April 8, 2025. He was 68 years old. Steve was born on April 2,1957 in Baltimore, Maryland to Stanley Steven Lesnick and Beverly Ann Bergner. Steve was a passionate and talented photographer for much of his career, then became an electrician for a decade or so, enjoying a partial retirement for the past year.
More than anything else, Steve loved his girls—his wife and two daughters. His pride and joy. But a very close second (very close) was his passion for motorcycles and cars. He also loved the people in his life with his whole heart. And never passed up an opportunity for silliness and laughs.
He is survived by his wife, Tanya Cole-Lesnick; his two daughters, Emma and Molly Lesnick; his two sisters, Joanie and Marcie Lesnick; his sisters-in-law, Jamy Cole-Judd and Liz Cole Bangser; and his brother-in-law, Paul Bangser. He is also survived by his nephews, Cole Judd, Kevin Judd, Jonathan Bangser, and Seth Bangser; his niece, Sydney Judd; and many cousins whom he adored.
He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Beverly, his parents-in-law Robert Cole and Margaret Hall, and his brother-in-law Cary Judd.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Sunday, April 13th from 12-2pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. Shiva will be held after the service from (3-7 pm) at the family’s home in Cortlandt Manor, please email Tanya at [email protected] for the address.
