Thomas M. Hutchinson, a resident of Cortlandt Manor, passed away on January 7, 2025. He was 70 years old. Thomas was born on March 3,1954 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to the late Jamie and Sara (Morrow) Hutchinson. Before his retirement, Thomas was an economist for the financial industry. He Graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario with a master’s degree in economics. His career began in Toronto, took him to Vienna Austria and eventually to New York in 1992 where he made his permanent home and became a US citizen in 2001. He retired from Fidelity In Rhode Island in 2022, moving back to New York permanently.
He is survived by his wife Valerie, Daughters Kate Grady (Mark), Hillary Hutchinson Cooke (Michael) and Chelsea Dorado Fuller (Corey).
His sisters Margaret Hawkins, Anne Margenau, and Nora Hutchinson. Brother-in-Law Eric Margenau and sister-in-law Karen Dicks.
He also leaves behind his three grandsons who adored him, Hutchinson, August and T.J.
A celebration of life is scheduled on January 24th from 1-4pm with a service at 2pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520.
