Anne O. Schwarzkopf, 78, longtime resident of Crystal Lake died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Lexington Care Center in Lake Zurich. She was born May 7, 1934 in Czechoslavkia to Steve and Mary Ortkrajcir. She married Fred Schwarzkopf, Jr. on November 19, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. Anne was a real estate agent in the Crystal Lake area for more than 30 years, winning many awards for her success over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, painting, gardening, writing, and traveling.
She is survived by her son Fred (Sarah) Schwarzkopf, her daughter Linda (Kevin) Kanoski, grandchildren Isabelle and Eli Kanoski, step-grandchildren Matt and Amanda Intravartolo. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Steve, and a sister Mary.
Memorial visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Thursday, July 19 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
