Anne B. Zwicky

She was born July 30, 1923 in Germany to Herman and Bertha (Keidl) Michel. Anne and her family moved from Germany to Elgin when she was a young girl. It was there that she met George Zwicky. They were married in 1946 and together raised five children.

Anne worked hard all her life. Often times she was working alongside her husband. She loved spending time with her family. Anne also loved to crochet blankets. All you had to do was give her the yarn and Anne would create a beautiful crocheted blanket.

Anne is survived by her children, James (Gloria) Zwicky, Edward Zwicky, Luann Sisson, and Tom (Jennifer) Zwicky; her daughter-in-law, Rita Zwicky; grandchildren, Doug, James, Krysta, Michael, Adam, Amanda, Maxwell, Tiffany, Justine, and Reagan; and her eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George; her son, Michael Zwicky; her infant daughter, MaryAnn; her parents; and two brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4pm on Sunday, October 30 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The funeral service will be at 4pm.

Interment will be private.
