To the Hess family. My deepest sympathy for your loss. I knew Mike and Arlene very well. They were members of our concertina accordion club and friends. There were wonderful musical memories made with them. To Mike and Arlene, Rest In Peace my friends. Sincerely, Casey.

Dear Family of Arlene:
Please accept our condolences for the loss of your Mom. We used to live on farms next to each other when we were growing up. We didn't play together because our parents kept us busy working in the fields. But we did all get together for holidays and family weddings. I remember that Arlene and her brother G and their spouses were great polka dancers. I used to love watching them. Arlene was musically talented. She played the accordian like a professional. I hope your kids have inherited the musical talent genes.
Arlene had a great personality and was always to be around. I know she loved her family greatly and would do anything for them. I am sure she is watching over you today. May God bless and guide you until you are all together again.
Sincerely,
Barbara (Motykiewicz) and Bruce Kerlin
P.S. I am sorry that health issues prevent me from being there today. I will remember you in my prayers.

To my cousin Arlene's family,
Please accept my sincere condolences at the passing of Arlene. Her dad, Ben, was my mom, Mona's brother. We lived on the farm just down River Road from our cousins: G, Arlene, and Val. I am 6 years younger and didn't play much with Arlene, but I remember her happy, bright personality. I remember what a great dancer she and Mike were, and that their wedding was such a great, musical time!
I moved to Iowa in 1976 so I have not had close contact with family, but I caught up with Arlene at our Uncle John's funeral. I am so glad we got to reacquaint ourselves there.
I hope all your happy memories can ease your loss.
Love, Nancy Haefner, Anamosa, IA
