Arlene Marion "Pat" Jordan

She was born June 13, 1922, in Crystal Lake, to Ferdinand and Clara Thurow. She married Traverse Jordan in 1952. She worked as a file clerk at Precision Twist Drill in Crystal Lake from 1960-79. She was member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake. She resided for the past five years with her son and daughter-in-law in McHenry.

She shopping, antiquing, making crafts and being with her family and friends and her cat, Chloe.

She is survived by one son, Terry (Dian) Micklevitz of McHenry; a daughter, Sandra (Steve) Dennis of DesMoines, Iowa; and a daughter, Donna Spicer of McHenry; six grandchildren, Deborah (Bruce) Sweet of Mitchelville, Iowa, Elizabeth Brown of Alexandria, Minn., Jason (Anna) Micklevitz of South Elgin, Ryan (Lisa) Micklevitz of Hebron, Coral Spicer and Carey Spicer of McHenry; and eleven great-grandchildren, Jacque Brown, Samantha Brown, Ashley Sweet, Thomas Sweet, Angelica DelSanto, Elizabeth Moore, Patrick Micklevitz, Janna Micklevitz, Matthew Micklevitz, Nicolas Micklevitz and Rylee Micklevitz.

She was preceeded in death by her parents; her sister, Evelyn Glawe of Arizona; her husband, Traverse; her sons, Patrick Jordan and Dennis Micklevitz; her first grandson, Tommy Dennis; and her grandson-in-law, Michael Brown.

The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 14, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 76 W. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park Woodstock.
