Barbara Barbi Diane Sullivan Reffett

Barbara Diane (Sullivan) Reffett, 70, of Woodstock passed away Wednesday April 6, 2011 at home. She was born January 9, 1941 in Clinton, IL. to Carl and Vera Sullivan. On September 6, 1963 she married Ted Reffett in Clinton, IL. Barbara was a pre-school teacher for a number of years in Texas and Florida before moving to Woodstock in 1991. She then worked as a coordinator in the test center at McHenry County College and retired after 14 years. She enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, music, garage sales, and loved her dog Chance. She was an outgoing people person, very artistic and loved painting.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ted, daughter Tawnja (Raymond) Trimble, son Jeff Reffett, grandchildren; Jeremy Montoto, Kasey Montoto, Stephanie Reffett, Turner Reffett, great-grandson Joelen Reffett, siblings; Dode Sullivan, Iris Rush, Sue Junkert, and Sherri Wrage. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a service beginning at 7:00 pm on Sunday April 10th at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake, IL.

A second memorial visitation and service will be held on Saturday, April 16th at Lane Christian Church in Lane, IL from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
