She was born December 23, 1932 in Chicago to William and Edna (Ferguson) Bein. On October 31, 1953 she married the love of her life, Lester "Bud" Rasmussen.
Blanche was a warm and kind-hearted woman. Her smile would light up the room. Her family was most important to her, she loved time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was hardworking and enjoyed baking, playing cards, and an occasional trip to the racetrack. She also enjoyed following the Chicago sports teams. When Blanche was younger she loved to dance, which led to her meeting her future husband, Bud, at the Blue Moon in Elgin.
Blanche is survived by daughters, Myra (Larry) Buettner, and Cindy (Jack) Bittner; sister, LaVerne Busse; three grandchildren, Joe (fiancee Danielle Luisi) Buettner, Kristen (Collin) Jeanquart, and Michael (Danni) Buettner; and three great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Carter, Kailey Jeanquart.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bud; her son, Tim; and her two brothers, William and Clifford Bein.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Sunday, June 17 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake. The service will be at 10:30am on Monday, June 18 at Immanuel Lutheran Historic Church, 178 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake.
Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.
