To Crystal and Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss and know that I am thinking of you and your family during this time of sorrow and I will be praying for strength and healing.   
When Brian started at Walgreens I was his Mentor/Buddy to be his guide in all things Space or just where to go get a cup of coffee.  In his first year we talked every day, met for touchbases and even spent half days working proposed planograms and WIPs while everyone was on holiday and I loved every minute of it.  I love teaching, but I loved teaching and working with Brian.  He was always so thoughtful, kind, shy and was a damn hard worker.  When he got promoted this past year I was so proud!  Brian had outstanding integrity, accountability and a strong work ethic.  
Working with Brian over the last four years has been an absolute pleasure and words fail to describe the loss that we have on our team and in our hearts.

I first met Brian over 30 years ago when he walked in to Yucca Valley Kmart store to start his job as the fashions manager. It only took a day and we became fast friends and he became part of my Family.  Working with him was wonderful he was kind he was patient and he listened to all the employees. Such a gentle soul and truly kind man.  I was truly blessed to have  Brian as my friend.  I will miss you Brian ... our family and friends will miss you but your legacy will live on.   You and Crystal Raised four beautiful children and they will teach their children all the wonderful things you taught them. ... much love to you in heaven watch over us all. Your soul is unbelievable, the stories Mike and Karissa told me about you were amazing. Your soul is one to remember. I’m so glad I was able to meet you and cherish 4th of July with you. 

I absolutely loved talking to you and Mike being a “ hick” in the suburbs with his flags. Next 4th of July I can already hear you saying “ yea those fireworks are my son and his nutty friends.”

Brian was a special part of our family.  Memories of sharing in our family life are etched in my heart.  Gone too soon and loved dearly. 

Dear Chrystal and Boyce Family,
Brian and I have been on the same team for the past few years.  Our team had the good fortune of meeting in person last week for the first time since the pandemic.  When Brian arrived he said he was worried about "what to wear", as he hadn't been out much.  We all agreed he looked stylish in his red shirt and matching gym shoes. He also mentioned about his meeting running late so he grabbed his laptop to quickly change , but then worried about his camera being on.  We all laughed about that,  luckily it wasn't on.  We all really appreciated seeing each other in person, all hugged good-bye and even grouped chatted when we got home.  
Brian was also part of the "early birds" club.  We always had nice morning chats at the office.  While at home, I always knew if there was an issue and I needed help, Brian would be on.  I truly will miss his green light being on.
I can only imagine the tremendous loss to your family, our entire space family is feeling your pain.  God,  family and friends will give you strength and support to get you through this most difficult time.

Crystal and Family - 
I first want to offer my deepest sympathy to you all.  Brian made it abundantly clear that you were the light of his life.  Every day, we talked about what kind of fun things he did with you, your kids, and grandkids the day before, or what the exciting, or even just simple relaxing plans for the weekend would be.  Crystal, he told me about how you met, and you swept him off his feet all those years ago.  And, he couldn't wait to go home to you each and every day.  
Brian and I worked closely together over the past 13 years.  We first worked together at Kmart Headquarters in Hoffman Estates on the Store Operations team.  There, we had so much fun creating visual displays and communications, and keeping our boss, Mike Peters in line.  
Kmart was like a second home to me, so naturally, many of my co-workers, such as Brian became like family.  
After I departed from Kmart/Sears, I moved on to begin a new career with Walgreens.  I remember feeling nervous, as I walked into the building on my first day for orientation.  As I was walking in, who did I see sitting there? It was Brian! We were both so relieved to see a friendly face.  And, as luck would have it, we ended up on the same team, sitting right next to each other again!  
7/10/21 would have been the 4th anniversary with Walgreens.  Over the past 4 years, Brian has become my most trusted co-worker, and an even better friend.  He was someone I could tell anything to without judgement, even if we didn't agree.  If I was doubting myself, he would be there to offer his advice and encourage me.  
His dry sense of humor, or quick snappy responses always made me, and everyone laugh until our stomachs hurt.  The best was his ability to quietly enter a room, keep his collected composure, and suddenly shock everyone with a real zinger! 
I will miss the friendly bantering with Brian the most.  And when we return to the office, I will miss his smiling face when I walk in the door.

Boyce Family,

I am a manager on the team that Brian worked on at Walgreens.  I can not begin to image the shock and loss you are feeling right now.  I can only provide my sincerest condolences to you all and let you know that he will TRULY be missed.  From my interactions with Brian he was an old soul.  Calm, quiet and wise.  He knew just what to say and when.  But then he'd throw you off by doing something mischievous or hilarious!  Just a week ago we chatted on an engagement event we were part of the same team on and he egged me on, saying he'd have to carry the team.  He knew that would spur me to act and try to out due him!  I will cherish the memories we made together, his Walgreens family loved him and is here for you.  God bless you all.
