Dear George (and family). I cannot express my deepest sadness at Carol's passing. She was Such an inspriation and what a jokster!! I will never forget her jokes during church - especially when the prelude was something she didn't like!!! I cannot imagine Bethany without Carol there. I just hope that Heaven is ready for her. Otherwise, I'm afraid they will get an earful, I'm sure!!! I also know that my parents are greiving. They were on their way to Las Vegas when I told them the news. They had no words. How can you find words in this situation?? Again....I am truly sorry for your loss. It seems very hard to comprehend.....

George and family -- I will miss Carol very much. We were in the same WTHS graduating class and she was, even in those days, a happy, friendly, outgoing person, a pleasure to be with. During the past few years reunions and luncheons/coffees brought us together again, and I was blessed to call her my friend. She loved her family dearly. With sincere sympathies to you,

To the Stupar Family,

We were very sorry to have heard of Carol's passing. Though we had moved out of the neighborhood a couple years ago, we would still stop by if they were out and talk awhile. She always had a story to tell and was great at telling them, we'll miss her.She will be missed by many.

Dear Jim, Kathy, and family,

May you gain solace in this time of grief from these paraphrased words of Benjamin Franklin, upon the passing of his brother, John:

We are spirits. It is a kind and benevolent act of god that bodies should be lent us while they afford us pleasures, assist us in acquiring knowledge, or in doing good to our fellow creatures.

But when our bodies become unfit for these purposes, and afford us pain instead of pleasure; instead of an aid, become an encumbrance and answer none of these intentions for which they were given, it is equally kind and benevolent that a way is provided by which we get rid of them. Death is that way.

A woman is not completely born until she is dead. For ourselves, mere mortals,we can feel only grief at the loss of a loved one. But for Carol,we can feel only joy. For how can we mourn the birth of a new child into Eternity?

With Deepest Sympathy,

Gary Oberg
