Clifford "Bruce" Lachel

He was born April 29, 1926 in Chicago to Anthony and Chrystal (Lockridge) Lachel.

A high school graduate, he served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

He loved working with computers and enjoyed watching sports. Most of all he enjoyed traveling with his wife, Frances, whom he married February 10, 1951.

He is survived by his loving children, James (Cindy) Lachel, Richard (Ann) Lachel, and Judith (Lawrence) Fergen; grandchildren, Melanie, Carol, Chelsea, Ravelle, and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Miranda, Benjamin, Chloe, Jennifer, Thomas, and Chloe Anabel; former daughter-in-law, Carolyn Hendler; and devoted family friend, Debi Baker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his brother, Conrad Lachel.

A memorial service will be at 1:00pm on Sunday, January 22, at First Congregational Church, 461 Pierson Street, Crystal Lake, IL.
