My deepest sympathies to Amanda and the Eldridge family. David was a wonderful friend, colleague and mentor during the time I worked with him at TCA. He will be missed.

David, you were always the "kid brother" of my good friends, Bruce and Paul, and their younger sister, Marty, for whom I was "Guardian Angel" on our Puerto Rico trip in 1961.  For most of your early years, you were too young to participate in our activities.  However, in your late teens, you started to participate in our marathon games of "Risk," most of which were held at the big old dining room table in your dear parents' home on Princeton.  You actually were pretty good at the game; you would often go for the Middle East, while I would concentrate on Southeast Asia. Of course, I would usually win, but you put up a good fight!
When you were in your twenties, our common interests in music and especially in all things British started to bring us closer together, and you were a frequent visitor to our home after Anne and I were married.
Even though our meetings grew more scarce recently, I still fondly remember you as "the boys' kid brother!"
In a text used by both Brahms and Schtz, may you rest in Peace from all your labors, Dave.

I was baptized on July 12th, 1987, at St. Bartholomew's Church at Penn, in England. It was a beautiful sunny day in July and most of our guests, after church, were on the back lawn, at 39. Lea Manor.
My birth was such a special day as I arrived on my great- grandfather's birthday, Thomas George Mountford, and, also my grandfather's birthday, Dallas M Young. So, my Mom decided that my baptism be held at St. Bart's, Penn, WV4-5PH, where the Geoffrey Thomas (George) Mountford Clan lived.
It was there, after the baptism, and at the reception at 39, Lea Manor Drive, Penn, Wolverhampton  that you met our cousin, Mandy.
You fell in love.
I was little at your wedding, but I do remember that my Mummy, Anne Young, was your Matron of Honor. Amanda and you, Uncle David, both looked so very romantic. I knew that you were in love, even at that tender age of mine,.
I hope that "my" Amanda and I share a love as tender as yours. With so much love, Your Godson, Geoffrey Thomas Young

My sympathy and prayers to the family. I never met David, but spoke to him many times on the phone with compliance questions while he was working at TCA. He was always very kind and humorous on the phone when we spoke and was also very professional. I was very saddened by the news and will miss talking to David.

I just want to express my condolences to David's family.  As a client, he was more than just helpful, he was kind, compassionate and always caring.  He often asked how I was doing and took a genuine interest in what was going on in my life.  I will miss him greatly.

David and Amanda were fixtures on Saturdays at the Crystal Lake Public Library. David was a very gentle, genuinely kind man. He will be missed. God Bless.

You welcomed me to Cleveland, Ohio at your beautiful home on Princeton, Cleveland Heights, Ohio. I first met you and your wonderful Mom and Dad on Easter Sunday in April, 1982. We just stopped by!! Yes, we were "uninvited", but that word was not in the Eldridge Language! Your Mom and Dad always welcomed us with open arms! Dal Boy used to describe your Mom as my "Surrogate-Mother-in Law"!! Dal Boy was happy that I found comfort in the home that he, always, felt was his "home away from home". Davey, your are such a gentleman: so kind, so feeling, so generous in spirit, and so putting of others before yourself. Davey, you were the best husband! Your family took marriage so seriously, and so passionately. Mandy, Darling, my heart goes out to you.   xxxx
