Saddened to learn of Dave's passing. Growing up there was a Wright pretty much in every class there was a Dowd at St. Marys. Remember those days well -Ricky was a good friend- I coached Tommy in baseball-hell of a player-Gordy and Joe were buddies. Crossed paths with Dave later on a few times -good honest decent man who loved his family and had great pride in his children. Condolences to the Wright family from the Dowd family on the passing of your husband, father, grandfather and brother. RIP David.

Judy, Colby, Liz, Becky, and Josh,

I am so sorry and sad to here about Dave's passing. I cherish and have the best memories while coaching baseball with Dave. My sons Josh and Paul played baseball and basketball and went to school with Josh and even my daughter Sarah umpired for Dave one year. Dave was a great coach but most of all a class guy! I'm glad my family got to know Dave. I remember playing softball, volleyball and card games with Dave. Good memories! Dave even did alot of electrical projects at my work. We both grew up in Des Plaines so we would talk about how things used to be in the good old days.

One of my best memories of Dave is chewing sunflower seeds at our kids games on a beautiful sunny summer day and watching our kids grow up and fave fun. Dave and I would take turns buying each other sunflower seeds.

I'm blessed to call Dave and his family my friends. He will be missed.

To the Wright family, you have my deepest condolences.

Sincerely,

Ron Lundgren
