I'm so sorry to learn of Donna's passing. I've had the pleasure of working with Donna at Aon Hewitt. She was the type of person who you could easily talk through a client project with, and then finish up with a most enjoyable  conversation about family. Donna, you are so missed.

I was so sorry to hear the news of Donna's passing. I worked with Donna while I was at Aon Hewitt. She was one of those special people who always knew how to get things done, even under tough circumstances. And she did it with a great attitude and team spirit. Thinking warmly of Donna now, and thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.

Donna, you are already sorely missed. You were a kind and caring colleague. While your professionalism and commitment to excellence inspired me every day, your concern and compassion were even more inspiring. I'll always think of your daily updates about the little kitty you found outside our office ... little "Hewie." Taking time to nurture an abandoned kitten at the height of our busy season -- well, that was just par for the course for you!! What a blessing to know you and learn from you. You and your family are in my prayers and my heart.

Donna...you will be so missed.  You were a kind and patient person; always giving to others. My last memory of you was Natalie sitting on your lap at Silverwood, mesmerized by the printer. Both of you had such a smile!

It's hard handling any death especially when it comes so unexpectedly. In times like this it becomes a brutal reminder of how time is not our own; we merely borrow it. It shows us how cruel and harsh the World can be; whether through treatment of family, strangers, or just the harsh reminder that despite how much good you do in this World, you're not meant to last. I think you lived an amazing life, Donna, touching everyone you met in a positive way. Not many can leave a mark but you did. I don't believe that when we die we are ever truly gone and I pray that your passing was, as Dickenson writes, one of civility.

I'll be forever grateful to you and for all that you've done for me and this family whilst I was growing up. You truly were the glue that held everyone together and I'm honestly not sure how things aren't going to fall apart without you. The gray days have been fitting as it's very tough to find the light right now. Growing up you were always warm and loving to me. You cared for me as though I belonged. I'll miss your warm smile and laugh. I'll miss something ridiculous happening and us sharing looks and the same thoughts across the dinner table.

Kind hearts have it even harder but you made it look easy. Always putting everyone else above yourself and never thinking a second thought about it. Words can't express enough or even come close to describing the sorrow that we all are having right now. I pray you are at peace and no unsettled pain or heartache has followed you. That you can watch over all of us with ease and see what an impact you've made on everyone. I wish that people would communicate more to each other what they mean to them; I know I'm guilty of not doing that but I hope you know how much I loved you. I'll never forget those cold Winter days heading up to Wisconsin to go skiing, eating a big breakfast in the lodge, and always getting that extra bit of help getting off the chair lift and a million other great times I was fortunate enough to share with you. All the birthdays, holidays, vacations, horse shows, plays.

I miss you and I'm so grateful to have been able to have you in my life for so long. Now there's another bright star in the sky. Another angel gained. I love you, Donna.

I have only the best and most positive memories of Donna.  She was the first to welcome our family to the NIHJA world and make us feel loved and welcomed to the horse community.  Her endless smile and boundless love for her family is my most precious thoughts of Donna.  Peace and Love to the Battaglia family.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Donna for many years as a client. Donna was a true professional and partner; she showed great dedication and passion for work, horses, and her family. She was a great lady with a lot of spunk! Many prayers and blessings to her loved ones during this difficult time.

Working with Donna as colleague and friend has been one of the pleasures of my job. She truly loved her work and her friends here at Aon Hewitt. 

Sol she spoke of you every day with such love and affection. She loved all your trips and all the small things you did for her. 

Dorothy she was the daughter everyone dreams of having and loved you so much. My thoughts and prayers go out to both families for this unimaginable loss. 
I will miss you every day Donna (we all will).

I am so sad that Donna is gone. She was very nice and kind to me and I am grateful I had the opportunity to work with her. May God grant her eternal rest.

Donna was dearly loved at Aon Hewitt. She was always there with a smile, encouragement, and a can-do attitude. My daughter and I recently ran into Donna at work--it was my daughter's first visit to Lincolnshire. After chatting with Donna, she turned to me and asked "Wow, mom, is everyone you work with that nice and positive?!?" That's just Donna :). She'll be missed--heaven gained a smile!
