She was born June 18, 1925 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Roscoe “Ted” and Marie (Sleeth) Roberts. She started working as a switchboard operator at Indiana Bell and retired from AT&T after many years of service. Most of all Doris loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Mike (Ruth) White; her grandchildren, Rusty White, Jennifer (Bryan) Wagner, Keely (Todd) Sindler, Lacey (Tony) Szczesniak, Nathan White, and Marcy White; and her five great-grandchildren, Randy, Samantha, Grant, Mia, and Mae.
Doris will be returning home to Indiana to be buried in Washington Park East Cemetery.
