Dear Dave and Rich,
Your mom and I had so many laughs together, especially as we encouraged each other through the attainment of our master's degrees. She had such a great sense of humor, which I will miss so much. She was a wonderful friend and I will always treasure memories of the times I spent with her.

Dear Dave and Richard, Please accept my deepest sympathy for the passing of your mom. I have many heartwarming memories of your mom. Including: hearing from her music room your mom playing at the piano Gershwin tunes first thing in the morning, the “Keep the Tempo” game her students often enjoyed, her lively sense of humor, the bull pin that she would wear at staff meetings, her devotion to all students, numerous fun filled musical programs, how she was such a caring friend, she has the most amazing and wonderful mentor, role model, and team mate. The world has lost a beautiful and musically talented person, her spirit will live on.
Heartfelt sympathy, Her team mate and friend, Jo Ann Miceli Wright

Dear Dave and Richard,

Our family has wondeful memories of your mom and the whole Childress family of Elm Street. Eloise was my mom's best friend and she was thrilled whenever Eloise visited her in Claremont. She and my dad made sure we saw the pictures from her visits. Eloise's students were so lucky to have such a capable and dedicated teacher to help them learn and appreciate the joys of music. Condolences and love to you all.

Dave and Rich: Sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. Neat lady. Always had a smile a word of encouragement to a kid trying to become a halfway decent musician. Music must in your genes because you certainly inherited her passion for it. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dave and Rich,

Joni and I send our deepest condolences. I have very fond memories of your mother, and think of her every time I think of our Europe trip back in the Millikin days. I am so sorry that we cannot attend to pay our final respect, and be there for you as you were when my parents passed. She was a great lady and beloved teacher.

Sue and Dave, Please accept our sincerest sympathy because of your Mother's passing. I haven't seen her in years but feel a comaradry because our names are the same. There are usually not many Eloise's around so I was pleased to meet your Mom. I'm really sorry for her passing but I do feel she is in a much better place and we will meet again, another time.

Your friends,
Eloise and John leighty
