Erma Zollars

Erma Zollars, 94, of Crystal Lake passed away Wednesday September 14, 2010 at Hospice of Northeastern Illinois Inpatient Unit in Woodstock. She was born December 20, 1915 to William and Elsa (Schimpf) Wolf. She married William Zollars more than 60 years ago.

She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake where she was very active in Club 60, Old Time Radio, and volunteered for Bethseda Thrift Store. She enjoyed reading, needlepoint, and jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by daughters Patricia (the late Frank) Huber, Elaine (Robert) Lorbiecki, Beverly (William) Enberg; grandchildren, Jerry Huber, David Huber, Wendy Dreyer, Bob Lorbiecki Jr, Barbara Money, Nicole Enberg; great-grandchildren Tabitha Huber, Jason, Nick, Cheyenne Huber, David Vasquez, Todd Peterson, Jackie Huber, Melissa Hopkins, Chase, Hope, Gage Lorbiecki, Lea Elliot; great-great grandchildren Rylan Huber, Kaitlynn and Keith Hopkins, Kadance Wiggins. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Thursday Sept 16th at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday Sept 17th at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 178 McHenry Ave. Crystal Lake, the Rev. Larry Tieman will officiate. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Woodstock. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in her name to Lutheran Church Charities.
