Florence A Irmen

Florence was born October 12, 1943 in Mount Pleasant, PA to Michael and Stella (Kitta) Konieczny. On July 1, 1972 she married Roger Irmen in Chicago. They made their home in Crystal Lake, where they raised two sons.

Florence worked at Motorola and later at Follett Library Book Company where she worked as a purchasing agent until her retirement in 2011. Florence's love of books extended beyond her job as reading was one of her favorite pastimes. She enjoyed spending time in the Lake Geneva area and especially liked having brunch at the Grand Geneva. Florence also enjoyed outings to Chicago with her niece, Nancy and nephew, Alex.

Florence is survived by her husband of 51 years, Roger Irmen; her sons, Michael Irmen and Christopher Irmen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Edward Konieczny, Elizabeth Hajne, Frank Konieczny, and Michael Konieczny.

Entombment will be private for the family at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
