Frances Catherine Kreppel

She was born November 4, 1922 in Mauston, Wisconsin to Edward and Anne (May) Rudolph. On June 1, 1946 she married Joseph Kreppel in Mauston.

Frances loved flowers and gardening, she especially loved her geraniums. More than anything Frances took great pride in her family.

She is survived by her children, Joseph (Loretta) Kreppel and Caryn (Jay) Lundberg; her son-in-law, Roger Ekstrum; her grandchildren, Britney (Jason) Love, Samantha (Brian) Alberts, Elizabeth (Ryan) Kirkpatrick, Nicole (David) Kinsman, Austin (Tianna McEnpee) Lundberg, Quentin (Roseanna) Lundberg, and Jason (Nicole) Jankowski; and her great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Tyler, Seth, Allison, Breanna, Arianna, Dominic, and Garrett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; her daughter, Catherine Ekstrum; and her eight siblings.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Friday, February 27 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The visitation will continue from 8:30 to 9:30am prayers on Saturday, February 28 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 1023 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake.

Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park.
