Gail Richard Dietz

He was born November 19, 1944 in Oak Park, Illinois to Alvin Carl and Irma Eileen (nee Eshleman) Dietz. He graduated York High School in Elmhurst and Elmhurst College with a degree in accounting. He worked for Mars/Keebler until his retirement in 2001. On April 10 1999 he married Shirlene K. Humphrey Dilley at Hope Covenant Church in Crystal Lake.

Gail was a member of B & B of McHenry and a square dance caller and member of the Callerlab Association.

He is survived by his wife Shirlene, daughters Jennifer (Bryan) Bullock of Darien, WI., Bridgette (Dennis) Mendrzycki of Janesville, WI., grandchildren Steven, Ian, Xavier, Bradley, Jason, Diana, and numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Thurs Oct 10 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Visitation will continue from 10 am until the 11 am service on Fri Oct 11 at Hope Covenant Church, 451 Ackman Rd. Crystal Lake. The Rev. Bill Orris will officiate. Interment will be in Darien Cemetery, Darien, Wi.
