Gary Robert Kehler

Born on September 7, 1957 in Landsdale, PA, he was the son of the late Robert W. Kehler and Laura (Cash) Kehler.

He was a graduate of Capitol Institute of Technology where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. Gary was an esteemed engineer for over 40 years, with the last 18 years being at Northrop Grumman in Rolling Meadows, IL, in reliability engineering.

Gary had a deep love for spending quality time with his devoted wife, camping, Penn State football, the Phillies, the Eagles, building LEGO’s and regularly was found meticulously tinkering around the yard, cutting wood, and in his workshop building, and solving problems, usually with 3D printing, robotics, and coding.

He was a loving husband, loyal son, beloved brother, and dedicated uncle. His memory will be kept alive by his loving family.

He is survived by his sister Patti Tancredi, wife of Jerry. His sisters and brother-in-law Ernest Cooke, husband of Doreen, Gail Cook Stagner, wife of Gene, Dorothy Powell, wife of Craig. Nieces and nephews, Vincent Tancredi, Laura Tancredi, Kelly Cook, Justin Cook, Rachel Powell, Courtney Powell, and Meredith Powell. Great nieces and nephews Ellie, Addie, Konnor, Justice, Gavin, and Abigail.

He was preceded in death by his brother in laws, David Cooke and Harvey “Moon” Cook.

A Celebration of Life will take place this spring. Details will be announced at a later date.
