Lois M. Keck

Lois M. Keck, 76, formerly of Lake in the Hills died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Medina Nursing Center in Durand, IL. She was born September 17, 1937 in Brooks, Wisconsin to Leo and Bernda Feuerhammer. She married Wesley Keck on April 30, 1960 in Woodstock. She worked for Oak Industries, P & H Diesel, Western Electric and as an Avon Rep in the area for many years. She was adventurous and loved traveling all over the country and enjoyed hiking. She was kind hearted and always there for everyone.

She is survived by her husband Wes; children: Vicki (Pat) Esposito, Mitchell Keck, Jody (Jenifer) Keck; grandchildren: Michael Esposito, Abby & Emily Keck, Aiden & Breanne Keck; sisters: Shirley Ann Maynard, Dorothy Early, Delores (Al) Wires; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Russell Scott Keck, brothers: Richard, Shirl and Roland Feuerhammer.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm on Wed, April 30 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Funeral service will be at 7 pm with Pastor Brian Channel officiating. Cremation rites to be accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Hospice of America, JDRF or charity of choice.
