Mary Kay Messling

She was born November 26, 1943 in Springfield, IL to Alvin and Kathryn (Felker) Messling.

Mary Kay worked as a counselor at McHenry County Community College for 30 years. Prior to coming to McHenry County she taught French in Quincy, IL. She will be remembered a very loving woman and would help anyone in need. Spending time with her family and friends was most important to her.

Mary Kay was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be missed by her daughter, Alia Messling; her granddaughters, Olivia and Vivian; her sisters, Patricia Wysocki and Jeannie Komnick; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Komnick, Justin Komnick, Janelle Komnick, Christopher Wysocki, Richard Wysocki, and Marie Wysocki; and great nephews and nieces, Cullen, Marlee, Charlotte, and Wyatt.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a visitation from 11am to 1pm on Monday, December 6 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. There will be a service at 1pm.
