To Bill and all of Mary's family I want to express my deepest sympathy. My connection to Mary was through Bill and working at Night Vision. Mary was our travel person for many years and I might add an exceptional one! We stayed in touch via Christmas cards until this past Christmas when I didn't send out cards and I didn't receive one from Mary. At that point I questioned if she was okay.
There was no one as kind and as caring as Mary. She will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss!

Because of Mary I am fortunate to have Gwen a part of our family. I met Mary years ago and she immediately felt like my mom. I recently was with her, Gwen and Ed at a family event. She was always so pretty and very gracious. I can understand how Gwen got her ways.

She will be missed by her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends.

I consider it a great honor to have known her and spent time with her. I can still hear her laugh and see her smile.

Our thoughts, love and prayers go out to everyone in her life.

Dear Gwen and Bill and Family,
You are in my heart and prayers at this very sad time. I hope you will find peace and comfort in your special memories of your Mom/grandmother
and great-grandmother. She loved her family and was so proud of each and everyone of you. Mary was a great lady with a wonderful smile and quick wit, in addition to being a very good Bingo player! I have many fond memories of Mary and consider myself lucky to have been called her friend.

Met Mary shortly after George passed away. It was evident from day one just how devoted she was to her family. Not only did she love to tell me about their day to day activities but photos of them were in abundance in almost each and every room of her beautifully kept home. Her wallet appeared to be almost unmanageable -- bulging with family photos. On a more personal level, I would describe Mary as a wonderful individual, full of personality -- a very warm and loving friend!

I have known Mary for over 60 years since I was first assigned to Fort Belvoir. One of my first jobs was to counter sign a classified vault with Mary at the end of each day. Many Friends will always remember Mary as the travel lady. For a number of years we attended the same church, Calvary Presbyterian, in Alexandria. I know that many friends and family will miss Mary very much.
God bless her family through this period of her loss.
