

Michael Donohue passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 73. He was born on December 14, 1952, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Lawrence & Lena (Scalzo) Donohue.
Michael spent most of his childhood in New Shrewsbury, New Jersey. At the age of 17, he joined the Navy. In 1972, he married the love of his life, Mary, and together they raised their children Sarah & Matthew. They operated a marina in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin, before relocating to Crystal Lake, Illinois, where he worked at Woolf Distributing.
Michael loved to fish, hunt, and enjoyed the occasional game of golf. Most of all, Michael was a person who was loved by all who met him. He will be remembered for his huge heart and compassion for all.
Michael will be forever missed by his wife, Mary Donohue; his children, Sarah (Victor) Mahler & Matthew Donohue; his granddaughters Lenora & Evelyn; his brothers Robert & Lawrence Donohue; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence & Lena Donohue; his brother Francis Donohue; and his nephew Angelo Donohue.
