I am so saddened by the loss of Mike...he worked for me for 2 years and we lost connection after he moved on from Champaign to home. God bless the family and friends. God will always be with you. We will miss you Mike.

'One and done' was Mike's mantra when we saw him at the Firebar in Crystal Lake. He would come in, have a tall beer and read the sports page. He was always upbeat and a good conversationalist. He said this was going to be the year of the Cubs shortly after the new year began. So sorry to hear of his passing and I was unable to attend the services as I was out of town. Only the good go first and Mike truly is/was one of the good guys. We will all miss him.

I was saddened by the news of Mikes passing. Mike was a heck of a nice guy and a tempered personality to speak to. I have many fond memories of our road trip in 1996. God Bless the Orcutt family.

This is kein bueno! I miss you so much. You were the best brother, unkie and friend anyone could ever ask for. You would always light up every room you walked into. We would never know what you would say or do next but would look forward to whatever it was. I can still see you singing and dancing "Oo wee, what's up with that, what's up with that." You will be missed by so many but never forgotten. I love you dude. Until we meet again...

We so enjoyed Mike being our across the street neighbor on John in Champaign! You always knew when the Bears were playing.... You could here the yelling and or booing from across the street! He surely loved life, sports, people and food! One winter a few years back he came over to ask permission to get a picture with our Leg Lamp from the Movie "A Christmas Story" He stated he was the spitting image of Ralphie when he was a kid. It was so fun to watch him get just the right shot for the card! We cherish that Christmas card he sent out that year with his hands on that lamp! What a sweet funny guy! He will be missed in our neighborhood. Our condolences to all his family and friends. Kevin and Julie Olson

My deepest condolences go out to the Orcutt family and to all of Michael's friends. I was lucky to have been able to spend several of my formative years with Michael, two of which were as roommates. I'm thankful for all of the music you introduced me to, your love of sports and literature and to call you my friend. Mike you are loved, will be deeply missed and I will never forget all of the fun we had together.

Michael, we miss you so very much! You will always be in our heart and thoughts. You left much too soon without us having had a chance to say good bye. I am comforted knowing you'll watch over us, while keeping Opa company. So this is "So long" for now. Give us a sign all is well, when you have a chance. Love, Mom and Dad
