

She was born March 9, 1928 in Chicago to Arthur and Katherine (Donahue) Endres. On September 29, 1951 she married Paul Finefield in Chicago. In 1955 they moved to Cary where they made their home for over 20 years before relocating to Hampshire for another 20 years. They then moved to Lake City, Florida before returning in 2005 to live in Marengo.
While living in Cary, Pat was a reporter for the Cary Clarion newspaper. She also was secretary and treasurer for her husband’s business, Finefield Aviation. She enjoyed playing golf, Pinochle, cards and games with her friends. She also loved to assemble jigsaw puzzles. Pat will be missed by all but especially by her two cats, Frisky and Dusty.
She is survived by her sons, James (Diane) and Michael (Mary Anne); her grandsons, Jason (Michelle) and Justin (Jessica); her great-granddaughters, Kylie and Morgan; her brothers-in-law, Frank Myers and Ed Kura and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 56 years, Paul; her parents; and her sisters, Mariana Myers and Jean Kura.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Monday, April 16, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The Memorial service will be at 7pm.
