I first knew Rich from Dolphin pool in the early 80's and Day camp SPD , then I went away for a few years and returned and Rich was in the same PE and same Lunch Hour in SHS I would bring koolaid candy I made at home and he wouldn't stop bugging me for more and let a lot of people know where to get it and was good stuff. I remember him opening a 55 gallon drum of woop ass on Chess matches. and remember him practicing stunts on BMX at the bike park in Hoffman Estates. Although we never went to our parents houses to hang out or phoned I took knowing Rich for granted believing I would run into him again soon somewhere like always. I often tried to look him up on Myspace and FB over the years with no luck. My last time seeing him he stopped by my parents house driving a tan caprice 20 year ago to catch up.
My condolences to his people.

We are expressing our sincere condolences to the Polk family. I knew him from school. I remember what a nice guy he was and always had a smile. That smile sticks with me always. May Richie rest in eternal peace.
