Rod Myron Burman

Rod Myron Burman passed away on October 14, 2021. Rod was born in Elgin, Illinois to Myron and Elizabeth Burman on October 25, 1962. He attended High School in Crystal Lake but left early to help his dad on their family farm. As he grew up, he learned how to work hard which led him to owning and operating his own business, Rod Burman Pool Services, for over 20 years. Rod was a genuine and honest man who always put others before himself. He enjoyed fixing whatever he could get his hands on that needed some fine-tuning. There was nothing he loved more than his wife, kids, grandkids and dogs.

Rod is survived by his wife Jennifer Burman; children, Jennifer (Jason) Roth, Clint (Makayla) Burman, and Abby Burman; grandchildren, Kayla Capps and Lillian Burman; siblings, Richard (Adrienne) Burman, Jean Repp, Susan Depta, Robin (Mike) Wevik, Rock (Trina) Burman, and Renee (Paul) Godawski. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Connie Stardy.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home (Crystal Lake, IL). Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 11am at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home (500 W. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). Interment to follow at McHenry County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
