Ryan Lee Hilberg, 38, of Crystal Lake, Illinois, passed away on October 23, 2022. He was born on August 22, 1984 in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
Ryan followed his father’s footsteps and joined the plastics industry where he dedicated his career. In his free time he loved being outdoors, listening to music and watching horror movies. He had a great taste in food and always pushed those around him to try new places he discovered. Ryan had a passion for shoes and had a huge collection to prove it. He was a huge sports enthusiast from an early age and loved the Green Bay Packers, White Sox and the Lakers.
Ryan had a great sense of humor and always knew how to make someone laugh. He loved spending time with his family, friends and dogs; but the greatest love of his life was his daughter Taylor. Words cannot express how much he will be missed and we are all working on ways to continue through this life without him.
Ryan is survived by his parents Sue and Barry; his daughter Taylor; his sister Lindsey; his brother-in-law Elliot; and his nephew Jennings. He is preceded in death by his father Sidney Hilberg; his grandparents Jack and Helen Steves, Sidney and Leona Hilberg, and Frank and Shirley Yeninas; his aunt Cindy Foley; and his uncle Marty Foley.
A visitation will be held from 4pm to 530pm on October 28, 2022 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. A service will immediately follow at 530pm.
