She was born January 6, 1940 in Crystal Lake to Clarence and Gertrude (Roewer) Winters. On March 25, 1972 she married Donald Holtz.
Sandy loved horses and enjoyed cooking. She was always giving to others, was there for anyone who needed her, and will be great missed.
She is survived by her siblings, Susie Key, Margo Schuldt, Georgia (Jerry) Simonsen, Terry (Barb) Winters, and Steve (Gloria) Winters, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sisters, Yvonne Dittman, Patricia Nelson, and Kathleen Sunderlage.
Visitation will be from 10:30am to 1:30pm on Saturday, April 16 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The service will be at 1:30pm.
Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
