He was born March 26, 1970, in Miami, Florida. He was born with a heart condition and had his first open heart surgery when he was only 4 weeks.
Music was his life; he had an extensive record collection, and would proudly be considered a “Dead Head.” He followed Grateful Dead for many years while they were on tour. He also worked at Full Cyrkle Records in Crystal Lake from the time he was 15 until they closed. He loved the Stooges and other old movies. He worked at Borders in McHenry for many years until just before their closing. He also attended AA in McHenry. He loved his kitty, Ruby, who he rescued. He had many friends who cared greatly for him.
He is survived by his mother, Donna (Gary) Evenson; his father, Claude (Heidi) Becker; his step-mother, Yvonne Haggerty; his brother, Troy Becker; his half-sister, Courtney (John) Cassaras; and step-siblings, Troy Evenson, Traci (Latham) Lewis, and Teri Zies; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandma, Pat Sorenson.
Visitation will be from 4pm to the 6pm Memorial service on Friday, May 27, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
